Included in your Booking Fee is; ‘All artistic editing and basic retouching of gallery images’ – but,
what does this mean? Well, after your session is complete, I upload all of your RAW images onto my computer and begin the behind the scenes, often misinterpreted part of this profession. I do not show all the images shot from your session in your gallery, instead, I painstakingly select all of the WOW images which are emotive, creative and indicative of the style of work in which you have hired me for. All of these awesome images will then undergo the artistic editing and enhancing process. Back in the film days a photographer would work away in their darkroom, but Photoshop and Lightroom are the processing powerhouses of the digital age. Once all of your gallery images have been edited, it is time for you to see your beautiful images. Below is an example of a ‘Straight out of Camera’ shot and then the final edited image.
